Application

Eastern Miles it is designed to Adult who is 12 years old or above (The Flying Explorer it is designed to Children who is between 2-11 years old, please refer to Flying Explorer).

Online enrollment:

The applicant may submit the application through Eastern Miles website of Eastern Miles and Flying Explorer.

To enroll in designated service center:

The applicant may submit the application from to Eastern Miles’ designated service center.

To enroll by telephone:

The applicant may through China Eastern Airlines Service hotline +86-21-95530 to apply the Eastern Miles.

To enroll by mailing:

The applicant may send the application form to: Post Box -001-08 mailbox Eastern Miles, Shanghai, China.

To enroll during the flight:

The applicant may also apply Eastern Miles when flying with China Eastern Airlines.

To enroll by Mobile APP:

China Eastern Airlines Mobile App now available for your application.

After becomes Eastern Miles member, you will receive:

• An electronic membership card
• A electronic welcome letter
• E-statement will be send to your email regularly

Flying Explorer

Application

Children between 2 - 11 years old may apply Flying Explorer through China Eastern Airline website and it must binding with guardians Eastern Miles members. Upon successfully enrolled, junior members will receive their own Flying Explorer membership cards as well as Flying Explorer Passports.

Flying Explorer Passport

Junior members may preserve their boarding passes, record their thoughts and feelings in the Flying Explorer Passports, and it has been prepared with the specific travel stamp. Junior member also may request our inflight captain to sing on the Flying Explorer Passports (it is valid for the flying time more than 2 hours). Flying Explorer Passports would record the memorable time of their Journey.

Earning Mileage

• Flying Explorer member may earns 50% mileage out of adult mileage, however if the booking classes which only earn 50% mileage or below, Flying Explorer member may earns the mileage same as adult.
• When consuming at non-airlines partners, Flying Explorers member would earn the mileage same as adults.
• Neither Gold nor Silver card apply to Flying Explorer. No validity is set for the points in Flying Explorer account. Flying Explorer, when turning the age of 12, will automatically became an Eastern Miles member. The points will remain valid through December 31st of the third calendar year after the year when Flying Explorer becomes an Eastern Miles member.

Redeem

- The award only apply to Flying Explorer member their own, and the redeem mileage is same as adult.
